Kid's Bike Parade
We are thrilled to have the Hinckley Parks & Recreation Department as our host for the annual Kid's Bike Parade!
Decorating starts at 4:30pm at the Hinckley Community Building (100 Maple St.)
At 5:00pm the Parade will be led by HPD down McKinley Ave to the HBR High School!
Note- For safety reasons, we will not allow any motorized vehicles, whether they are adult, or child operated.
HFA Mission Statement:
The Hinckley Festival Association connects, supports and partners with our youth, families, and local not-for-profit organizations by continuing to enrich the community with cultural, artistic, and economic development projects and events.
The center of our organization is all about the community. Our Association continues to run events and activities that fit that narrative; Hinckley Fireworks Fest, Hinckley Community-Wide Garage Sale, Harvesting Our Future projects, Hinckley Christmas Tree Lighting, Hinckley Arts Festival.

Giving back to our Community!
Each year proceeds from the entrance gates at the Hinckley Fireworks Fest, is donated to a designated nonprofit organization. Thus far, the association has donated over $3,000.00 to these local organizations; Hinckley Public Library, Hinckley-Big Rock PTO, Fox Valley Older Adult Services, and Hinckley Parks & Recreation.
2021 Proceed Recipients:
The first recipient of the 2021 Hinckley Fireworks Fest donation will go to the Hinckley Public Library District. The proceeds from the Fest's gate donations will assist the library in their fundraising efforts on the renovation of their future building at 142 W. Lincoln Avenue. The second recipient of the 2021 Hinckley Fireworks Fest donation will go to the Hinckley Lions Club. The proceeds from the Fest's 50/50 Raffle will benefit the Hinckley Veteran's Memorial Project that is located at the Community Building, 120 Maple Street.

Our Community
Hinckley, Illinois is a small welcoming community set in DeKalb County where friends and neighbors still gather outside, wave and smile as we greet new friends, and are always willing to lend a helping hand.
Founded in 1835, our population has grown to 2,070 as of the 2010 census. |
