Misson:The Hinckley Festival Association connects and supports our youth, families, and local nonprofit organizations by continusing to enrich the community with cultural, artistic, and economic development projects and events.
|
Our mission is to give back to the community through these events and projects! Our desire is to strengthen the great things which occur in Hinckley and engage the residents in new ways.
Each year proceedes from the entrance gates at the largest annual community event, Hinckley Fireworks Fest, is donated to a designated nonprofit organization. Thus far, the association has donated over $3,000.00 to these local organizations; Hinckley Public Library, Hinckley-Big Rock PTO, Fox Valley Older Adult Services, and Hinckley Parks & Recreation.
The association has created a strategic plan to examine additional ways to make the Village of Hinckley a place where people desire to live, shop, and maintain a business. The association supports economic development projects through a group of community volunteers designated as Harvesting Our Futre.
